  1. Nothing changed.. Tam was just spewing the info provided to her by the PMO. You think she isn't aware how helpful masks are? She co-wrote the post SARS report.. yup, that one, that stressed the need to maintain a 16 week PPE supply, and focused on the vulnerability of Long Term Care homes and all of which was ignored. Trudeau shipped OUT tons of PPE to China in February!!

  5. Vitamin D was in the news a few years ago due to its relationship to various cancers. Stats show that those who have low levels of vitamin D have higher levels of colon, breast and prostate cancer.

  6. Theresa Tam was clearly getting direction from the PMO, and it's quite obvious given all the early anti-racism signalling while the borders were left open far too long. She co-wrote the report on SARS, she KNEW that care homes were at huge risk and there was NOTHING put in place as this crisis was unfolding.. SHAME!!

  7. She's being honest, sometimes that's tough to hear. Putting people in ambulances and/or in body bags is a traumatic thing to do and meanwhile, some are going around socializing etc, in complete denial.

  8.  @kathrynpodgurny6846  Denial obviously. Look into the 30 year old in San Antonio who had been to a Covid party and who died yesterday. Look at the stats of the last number of weeks that show the breakdown of age groups getting the virus. The highest is in the 20-40 age range. Many require hospitalization regardless of whether they ultimately die, and sometimes for weeks on end. And they spread it to others.

  10. Unfortunately we don't have enough personnel (or is it the will?) to enforce quarentine. It seems as though there's a willingness to accept a certain amount of continuous cases. Yet we're expected to make these extreme sacrifices. Either shut down travel totally and be done with it, or do what the US is doing. Notice how they're not telling us where these daily new cases are coming from.

  12. EXACTLY..and the disparaging of masks early on! I can't understand how ppl believe that masks prevent your microbes from getting out BUT these same masks allow those of others to get in! THATS INSANE!!

  13.  @kathrynpodgurny6846  Well you know as well as I do that Pharma is gunning for a vaccine and will do everything in it's power, which is considerable, to prevent any information on HCQ and Azithromycin and zinc or IV C or even optimal vitamin D levels (nor L-Lysine as a treatment) to even be discussed. Why are we not hearing about the results of the IV C trials? And the work of Didier Raoule and Dr Zelenko? But they expect billions of people to take a "warp speed" vaccine. So what's left? Be sensible, wear a mask, take vitamin C and D and zinc. Here in Toronto, our hospitals are overflowing on a regular basis, nevermind a pandemic. And keep those borders to USA closed!!

  14. Trudeau.. Ya, we gave 900 million to We, a charity my family all got paid to speak at. So what? .. yup, we sent tons of PPE to China, leaving our Health staff and hospitals without and scrambling... I can do as I like, see my beautiful hair?

  21.  @timower5850  Yes, many. No one knows exactly just how many. That's why there's many and not an exact figure. Many is in the eye of the beholder. To me, given that our hospitals already practice hallway medicine prior to Covid, and "elective procedures" such as cancer and cardiac surgeries have been cancelled causing a huge backlog of these alone, then yes.. many.
