  3.  @carolwilhelm1810  I've been wearing a mask since March because I saw how well Taiwan, Hong Kong and Vietnam were doing. I stopped listening to our Chief Medical Officer here in Canada when she said we need to continue to allow flights from China as it was racist to suggest the flights be stopped. And our Prima Donna Prime Minister told us it's not possible to shut the border. Two days later they shut it. And the same Chief Medical Officer told us (and still claims) that a mask prevents your germs from infecting others yet that same mask allows others' germs in.. wow I thought, they've invented magic one way masks! Who'd have thought?

  6.  @Justlookin958  There are teachers over the age of 50 and other school staff and obviously they're at greater risk should they aquire the virus and there are those who have comorbidities as well. My daughter is replacing a teacher who's had 2 cancer surgeries and is unable to return. Teachers are human beings too who want to stay alive and don't want to transmit this virus to family.

  7.  @annnoyez  You can protect yourself Malika. I take 4,000 mgs vitamin C, 5,000 iu vitamin D and 30 mgs zinc. If you get the virus immediately start on an amino acid called L-Lysine and take 1,500 mgs twice a day and remove all caffeine. Try to go outside for walks when it's quiet, it helps a lot and speak to family and friends often on the phone.

I am totally uninterested in anyone famous but I very much admire those who have accomplished a great deal, invented something, created something, produced amazing art etc. Becoming famous and wealthy because you can beat someone's head in and knock them out.. that to me is very base and barbaric. The "sport" of boxing turns my stomach.

  12.  @annnoyez  I've had my blood levels of D checked and through trial and error I've learned I need 5,000 in winter and 4,000 in summer just to maintain! This year I'm staying with 5,000 and my doctor is fine with that. I know a 95 year old retired cardiologist who takes 10,000. The older you are or your skin type plays a significant role in vitamin D synthesis. Best of luck to you (do add the zinc, it's required in order to assist cells in fighting off virus replication).

  13.  @annnoyez  In Canada we can buy vitamins in many stores including grocery stores, drug stores, and health stores. It's not a pharmacist's business what we choose to put in our bodies but of course they are ultimately the employees of Pharma and they'd rather have us ill!! Unfortunately for them I'm 64 and not on any drugs yet I'm totally healthy.. and I sit in the sun when I can 😉.

  14. They don'tt want anyone taking vitamin D, or anything else useful for that matter. They're telling the world that HCQ does t work inspite of massive evidence that this cheap and safe drug is very effective. They want to mandate the "Warp Speed' vaccine.

  15.  @Justlookin958  We have teacher's unions in Canada too. They don't have authority over the government officials however. In Ontario our elementary schools are opening fully in September plus teachers have been told they must provide "synchronist learning" for those who stay home. My daughter has no idea how she will do this as there's been no information and she is scheduled to teach a split class if grades 3/4.

  19.  @tonybonestheproducer  You're spreading lies again Tony. Statistics are easily manipulated. Do you realize that those under 60 includes children and youths under 19 who are largely unaffected? That brings the stats down quite a lot. Those who are too stupid to protect themselves and encourage others to behave recklessly deserve what they get.. unfortunately they expect health care staff to risk their own and their family's health to care for them when they get it.
