  10.  @mastercommander4535  I just checked and learned the FLCCC recommend is 30-40 mgs elemental zinc daily. Personally, I'm naturally deficient (or I'm not absorbing adequate amounts) as evidenced by the white streaks on my nails if I even skip a day or two of supplements. My opinion is most ppl should take at least 15 mgs per day as insurance, unless they eat meat daily. I'm a meat eater (but sparingly these days) and yet have had zinc issues for years, unknowingly.

  11.  @mastercommander4535  Interesting. I take 5,000 iu daily and I need that in order to stay in the optimal range, but I'm 65 and live in Ontario. I'm due for a checkup, going Tuesday, and hope to get some blood work done this week as I haven't had the serum D for at least 3 years and I'm curious where I'm at. I've been monitoring it for about 15 years and found 2,000 iu to be too low for me. This test costs c. $45, the other regular blood testing doesn't cost out of pocket here.
