  3. My daughter is a teacher and is loved and respected by her students, their parents and administration. Some students she teaches are appreciated and cared for in the year she has them in a way they never have been at home. Some are flagged for the first time as needing testing as they're highly intelligent and can and have covered up learning issues such as ADHD etc. She intuitively can obtain proper behavior from the most challenging students and consistently has her class perform very well in standard testing. There are teachers in the public system who are gifted and amazing. These are the teachers we're happy our kids have at least 2 or 3 times by the time they graduate high school. This woman is generalizing in a very uninformed way.
