  3. As a person born in the 50s, no, that's not how it was. Women raised more children, cooked from scratch daily and had fewer conveniences. Every day was a challenge and few had a second car.

  4. Women who stay home raising kids for more than 5-6 years are pretty much unemployable unless they have in demand skills because the competition in the workplace is so high. Given that 50% of marriages fail, women risk poverty in old age and no pension or savings if they stay home.

  5. Don't expect my children and grandchildren to provide your care in your old age. You can go wander into the forest like the elderly indigenous did.
