I put myself through 4 years of university (despite a poor and disfunctional upbringing) worked my way into a good job, married and raised 3 children while maintaining my career. We saved and helped with our children's education and between them they hold 7 degrees. Our retirement is secure. None of this was accidental, we worked hard, made sacrifices and instilled those values including responsibility in our children. I have a very happy and fulfilled life. . One more thing; I paid attention when school guidance teachers were informing us that teen pregnancy is not a good lifestyle choice.
