  1.  @juicyfruit4378  What new law are you referring to? In Ontario law, the "father" is the one who is present in the home and is supporting the child and has assumed a father's role. I'm not commenting on the validity of that, merely stating what the law is. If a couple separates and even if the child is not biologically his, he still has parental rights and responsibilities. Last time I checked statistics, about one in six children are fathered by someone other than who is listed on the registration record. That is still the majority. The law seeks to decide in favour the child's best interests.

  2. What do you marry them for? You take their best years and toss them to the curb for a younger one and now what for them? They raise their kids alone and are poor.

  3. LOL.. in Ontario a birth certificate is applied for online. There are no physical signatures.

  4. ​ @juicyfruit4378  That's not true. And the majority of fathers listed on the birth certificates are accurate. This has been scientifically proven many times.

  5.  @allthingsharbor  In Ontario, that's possible. My husband wouldn't bother. Two look so much like him and the other looks exactly like his sister.
