I know, I worked for 34 years in a related department and watched the patterns. Citizenship certificates and ceremonies ALWAYS surged during an election year when Liberals were in power. So much so that other government business in that department was put on hold for up to a year, with no explanation.

  19. ​ @smokydave  Your best bet is to contact new walk-in clinics in the suburbs as they're usually taking patients. Before you do that, check on the credentials of the doctors working there to be sure that they were educated in a Canadian medical school where they had to survive extremely strong competition to gain entry with insanely high grades. Even better if their undergrad was here also so communication won't be an issue. Foreign trained doctors potentially bought their way in. Most medical malpractice cases stem from one of those. I've successfully used this method 2x when my excellent GP retired and I scored a fantastic family physician after the first find moved out of province. I can't stress enough to check where they were educated. And look at reviews too. If they've been in practice 5 years and are still taking patients, it's a flag so look too at the year of graduation.

  28. The graves were marked, wood doesn't last, there was tuberculosis, flu, measles, you name it. These schools were established in the late 1800s, and they were residential schools. People died over the decades of natural causes. Sure there was likely abuse too, just as there's abuse currently everywhere including in schools. This was NOT a genocide, there's not a shared if evidence of that. And there have been ZERO remains found by the way.
