Wow, are you out of touch! Even decades ago you had to wait months to see a specialist. My niece nearly died while waiting 6 months to see a gastroenterologist for Crohn's and she was a slim 12 year old and had lost an additional 15% of body weight. Finally she was hospitalized and tube fed. This was 11 years ago. When my son was 15 and I brought him to emergency due to a massive migraine that left him in the fetal position, we waited 5 hours to be seen. That was 20 years ago. My hip replacement surgery in 2018.. I was on a wait list for 15 months. And it was just as difficult finding a family doctor 7 years ago when mine retired, as it is now.

@len3169 How many Canadians supported the truckers? It was less than half, mostly due to the propaganda media, unfortunately, but it was enough to make the point and slowly the restrictions eased. I doubt any government will try it again.

And yes, we're bringing in an unprecedented number of immigrants who will flock to the large cutes where there's zero housing, crowded schools and impossible transit. But they're liberal voters.

The graves were marked, wood doesn't last, there was tuberculosis, flu, measles, you name it. These schools were established in the late 1800s, and they were residential schools. People died over the decades of natural causes. Sure there was likely abuse too, just as there's abuse currently everywhere including in schools. This was NOT a genocide, there's not a shared if evidence of that. And there have been ZERO remains found by the way.

The Catholic Church was in part responsible for residential schools but not all. This was a tragedy that unfolded over decades with plenty of blame to go around. When anyone has uncontrolled power, much like our current PM, corruption is guaranteed.
