They're dropping from exhaustion

@jigglypuff4227 That won't help you. You'll need a whole hazmat suit and masks/gloves changed every hour. Bigger problem will be food and water supply.

Peter Harbors There are many leaked videos

It seems to be spreading more quickly than SARS did but maybe not quite as lethal

@brainy5269 It's not their political systems, it's their habit of eating wild animals. Bats, snakes etc. That needs to stop.

Jesus Mea Lux Oh, you Australians are lucky, our Canadian government is requesting no such thing. They're not even bothering to put waste of time medical screeners at airports. Those coming in from China are requested to self report symptoms on those new kiosks we have. 🤣🤣🤣

@pimpam153 Those are the confirmed cases. There are not enough test kits nor personnel to keep up.

@KH-cw2tm Ah, so you think they've stockpiled 100,000 test kits but aren't using them? And there's hospital staff standing around twiddling thumbs?

@ThePixelitomedia Not cured, however it runs it's course, like the common cold

Pompey Corner Even I consider that fear mongering, wow, that's over the top

@joemonroe9456 If 107 died and 4,500 are confirmed infected, how does that =15% death rate?
1
@joemonroe9456 They began to quarantine early due to their experience with SARS and no doubt some international pressure too. I'm not saying there aren't more cases than what's being reported, given there's limitations on how quickly a new case can be confirmed. The first Ontario patient was deemed "presumptive" 3 days after hospital admission and not confirmed until day 6. So imagine how China is coping with this process given the numbers? But there's no way it's as high as you're suggesting even taking into account the slow confirmation process.

@joemonroe9456 The death rate is not 50% that's ridiculous. Latest stats I've seen is over 5,000 infected and 131 dead. It's not possible to determine the death rate until much later into the pandemic as it takes about 4 weeks total from contracting the virus till symptoms appear then becoming sicker then critical then dying. This is similar to SARS unsurprisingly as that was a Corona virus too.

@levelplanet3841 Hospitals don't have enough staff, they're working around the clock, under extreme stresd and no sleep

@levelplanet3841 Are you saying they're dropping due to working while ill?
