  1. It can be disinfected easily, just as they do with Norwalk virus outbreaks on cruise ships. The virus doesn't live on surfaces indefinitely, so once you know the time frame, let it sit a few days, disinfect, then let it sit again. Done.

  4.  @MattRoadhouse  I know, I've only had 3 vaccines and I'm 63. What I'm afraid of is family members who would take this vax were it to be marketed. I'm hoping it's not possible given that they weren't able to produce an effective one for SARS and there's no vaccine for the common cold either.

Those who need to be really concerned are the passengers quarantined on the Diamond Princess, where staff is inadvertently spreading the virus. Canada needs to get our people off of that ship but unfortunately our PM is galavanting somewhere in the Caribbean.

  10. You can start figuring out some basics for yourself instead, such as consuming a litre of pure cranberry juice per day for 2-3 days eliminates the infection. Another tip; you get far better care from a Naturopath. Not cheap but worth it.

It's a failed socialist policy, this concept of redistribution of wealth. If governments stick with doing what they're elected to do and stop attempting to social engineer the people, we'd be in better shape. There should be no deficit and rarely any debt and if that were the case, vital programs such as healthcare, childcare, education and pensions and needed infrastructure all would benefit and the populace would have better security for their future. As it is, we're screwed for the next 60 years. It doesn't affect me so much as I'm a Boomer but I'm very angry on behalf of my children and grandchildren. They're going to pay a heavy price for Mr selfi's ineptitude.

  37.  @annetteslife  Asthma is listed as one of the side effects on the vaccine inserts, that's likely why you developed it. I'm 63 and there weren't any asthmatics anywhere when I grew up. We didn't have all these vaccines they're pushing these days. We have strong immune systems due to our bodies successfully fighting the benign childhood illnesses.

Lack of regulating airbnb hasn't helped either. Smart ppl began to put their money into investment properties and flip them under various family members' names. Rental housing isn't being constructed. This is what's led to the current housing crisis. People's wages haven't kept up at all to the cost of living for a good 25 years now. Even the large unions have been having that difficulty. Governments only look after those who paid for them to gain their position. The rest of us are screwed.

  42.  @lepq30  The UN is totally useless, everyone knows that. The lives of those on board are just as valuable as those on land. Clearly, "quarantine" on the cruise ship is completely ineffective as it's rapidly spreading among everyone, including staff. The people need to be removed and properly quarantined. Japan is not like China, they do have good hospital facilities and they are capable quarantining everyone as well.
