Each book hand written and translated and re-written and edited and translated … etc. All of it by humans. All of it hearsay. Edited by the church. Voted on in committees. Certainly you first heard of the religion through the claims of another human. No doubt reinforced by more humans. Most likely as a toddler who can’t remember a time when you weren’t a member (although this part is entirely conjecture on my part). Take a look at other cults. Watch documentaries on them. Read up on signs of cult behaviors. Self-reflect on how yours is similar. Ask yourself what happened to the “old gods” of Egypt and Greece. The humans of their day believed with a fervor equal to your own. Look at the NEW cults that have formed during our lifetimes. Scientology and Mormons, with space ships and “seer stones”.
