  7. @Tu regere imperio fluctus, Hispane, memento Jesus said he did not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it. The Law includes not making images to bow to them as unto gods. Catholics don't care about God's Law which was never abolished. Certain parts no longer apply because they were for ancient Israel to foreshadow the Messiah, such as sacrificing lambs. But some things remain God's will, such as not depicting Jesus, lest someone worship the man-made image instead of the true Jesus. Catholics always put their man-made traditions above God's word. Jesus hated the Pharisees for doing the same.

I know if the Old Testament is right by comparing it to objective reality, such as knowing that God gave me sight, so God cares about me (is not indifferent nor evil). Many of your questions apply to you too. You pretend to be immune from them. AD HOC not. I have good reasons for accepting the King James BIble, although it has some flaws in translations, like truning Sheol into hell once if I recall correctly. The Eucharist as in the literal bread becoming the literal body of Jesus? That's nonsense. Jesus is the lamb of God. Not everything is literal. Context and logic apply. Tell me if you would be all right with your churches featuring a robot Jesus to "venerate." :-)
