Too bad it was the Spanish who first went around the world, as proven in my series "The British Empire Was NOT The Biggest." Idiots count deserts but not oceans. If I were Portuguese, I would be ashamed that my country sided with racist pirates and stayed with them even AFTER getting raped with the African Ultimatum kicking the Portuguese out of Africa by their "allies." @The Philosoraptor The Nutterlands is the shadow of England. All they did was overshadowed by the English, and their language is basically redundant even in their own land now. @theawesomeman9821 Yes. Lepanto is important. The Spanish Empire, with Italians helping, stopped the Ottoman. Without Spain, Italians would be speaking Turkish. The Siege of Austria (no, not that one; the other one) had help from the Spanish also. It wasn't only the Germans as most believe.
