The original invaders and conquerors of Celtic Albion were the Romans who had among their legions LEGIO IX HISPANA such that ancient Spaniards pissed on England before it was England. :-) That legion disappeared eventually, probably surrounded by overwhelming numbers of natives just like the Brits by Zulus later on. But the HISPANIA legion did help Rome take over most of Albion, so overall, they succeeded.

I'm doing a massive one of América of the biggest possible size in the HD version, where Vikings can begin in Dublin in the NE of the map. All of Africa is included and all of Japan. Aztecs VS Incas in the proper context... is my dream.

During the Iberian Union, when Spain ruled the entire Portuguese Empire after taking Lisbon by force with Moroccan and mercenary help, the Spanish Emperor monopolized most oceans in the universe including the biggest one, the Spanish lake AKA the Pacific Ocean, bigger than the Mongol Empire! A map of French islands in the world proves that the British never monopolized even one! LOL! Many British Empire fanatics don't know history, so they confuse chronology as if Spain always competed with other Europeans in the Far West. For at least a generation, not so.

  27.  @wolfrainexxx  But it makes sense to call everything east of Greece Asia because to them Asia was synonymous with the east for a long time. We call areas not enclosed by the Euphrates and Tigris but close to them, as "Mesopotamia" even though they are not between those rivers which is what, as you know, Mesopotamia means. But to call Albion "England" before it was the land of Angles and Saxons, is chronologically wrong. Calling Asia Asia today isn't. Calling Africa Africa today isn't. You can still call the original Africa Africa, and not be wrong. What I hate is when people call the US America when it isn't even half of it, and that's as arrogant as if China called itself "Asia."

Also, the US says Central Americans (like me) are a thing, and notice that has "American" in it, so the US admits there are Americans outside of the US whose Kansas is very far from the real center of América. People can call the US the states, and context shows what they mean, but they never say others are wrong to refer to their states (if they don't use the term provinces) the same way. However, if I say America is America instead of just the central part of North America, many gringos have a cow because they say they are the only America.
