  1. Long ago the French allied with the Turks because they feared the growing power of Spain. They betrayed their own religion and their own continent just to get ahead. Later, France and Great Britain halted Russian advances against the Turks in Istanbul and thereabout out of fear of the growing power of Russia. Russia and Spain are opposite sides of the same European coin. Russians conquered most of the east of Europe. Spain conquered most of the West. Russia is cold. Spain is warm. Too bad Spain is subservient to the US now. Da vergüenza.
