  1. That's what happens in a civil war, the two sides immediately start arming civilians, in Yugoslavia the armouries were opened up, everybody had guns within a month.

  2.  @michaelhull1813  I live in Europa, I know Croats, Serbs and Bosnians, people talk about the war there, armouries were looted first, local bosses would hand out guns like candy. You could buy an AK74 everywhere all of a sudden.

  7. About two million combat veterans alive today in the US, deduct about half a million(age, disability or other), you would require app 5 million troops to pacify them, that's just the 1.5 million.
