  15. Keith Durant I am a lukewarm Lutheran myself, but when people discard the Bible completely and with pride declare they never read it, well that just a sign of pure idiocy. That story contains knowledge that is a object lesson to the dangers of destroying what makes society cohesive. Christianity is one of the foundations of our entire culture and not knowing the stories or nitpicking the Bible to death as some sign of intellectual superiority strikes me as bordering on being dumb.

  16. Keith Durant I agree, I am a 38, I remember when I joined the Army, a lot of people asked me why, my parents did not approve, them being anti war. My friends thought it odd and I told them, why should only those who have to join to earn a living join, that is no way to create citizen soldiers and besides it's useful knowledge.
