Not quite, the interventions are to enforce the use of the dollar as the only currency in which to trade oil, the physical theft is but a bonus, the grand crime is the petrodollar itself. But without the petrodollar the US economy would collapse, the industrial output of the US cannot support the government expenditure.

From 1955 until 1969 he was a surgeon and then chief surgeon at the General Hospital in Edmonton.
