  2. Most of them did it for the money, do you understand that, it's either jail, 7 bucks an hour, homeless or join the legions. Gabbard is a doctor, her job was to patch up soldiers and civilians all torn to pieces, that was her job, in a mash unit, why do you think she opposes war, because she saw the price of war.

I don't blame the soldiers who serve merely to earn a buck to survive, I know how they feel because I remember, the best ally progreesives could ever gain are soldiers, color blind and from all creeds and races, careerist officers are another matter, some of those bastards will gladly send somebody to an early grave for a promotion. As for Christianity, it's a shame the Arianistic version of Christianity was purged in the Roman Empire, there was reason for it though, they believed that Christ was just a human being who tried to provide an example to others. Can't have such rational people around to stop blind faith.
