Society is an organic stucture, adaptive, not easily manipulated and some things would require immense technological advances in order to change it, what you studied disguised as gender studies was sociology, a soft science, what you should have studied in order to understand the subject matter is Psychiatry and Biology, congratulations, you've wasted several years of your life studying the wrong subject. Each human being is limited, these limitations are among other things based on biology, a person who's bound to a wheelchair from birth due to a genetic defect is limited, if that person is born female then that individual is even more limited physically in general due to a lower average upper body strength potential, society didn't dictate this, biology did and no amount of navel gazing will change this, a technological solution will however change this sad state of affairs for that individual.
