The boy who cried wolf effect, the left cried wolf for too long, now the wolf is here and they don't know what to do, Latin America is lost to the left, corruption, weird ideological stupidity and a inability to exert meaningful change has caused this, democracy works if there's a loyal opposition, in Latin America the opposition is no longer loyal, I kinda get why, in the US the opposition is lost in conspiracy theories and crying wolf. @seanrahman7129 What a nationalist is depends on what the person perceive to be the nation, Gandhi was a nationalist, so was Peron, they existed in the same time period, but their definition of what the nation was very different. You have different forms of nationalism, Jingoism, civic nationalism, fascism, nativism, you have to define what is what first, Roosevelt was a nationalist, so was Tojo, but how it manifests depends on the nation state traditions, Glenn even made that clear in this vid, Bolsonaro is a Brazillian nationalist with his ideas of what that is rooted in the Brazillian traditions of what constitutes the nation, so it's pardo and everybody fucks everyone producing a new ethnos, that's his idea of nation. I doubt KKK member would like Bolsonaro's idea of what constitutes the nation, it's traditional catholiscism(not protestantism), language and religion being the demand to be a part of the nation, this is unpalatable to a KKK member, a nazi would find Bolsonaro to be an advocate for a sort of Latin American Uomo Novo, a follower of Coelho would is on the left in Brazil would not be opposed to this idea, it's very confusing to Americans.

@seanrahman7129 Trump is a fucking hustler, a used car salesman, the reason why I'm against crying wolf is simply this, Trump is a fox who eats a few chickens, Bolsonaro is a full blown fascist in the Latin American tradition, he views culture to be a defining trait that excludes or includes, he actually shares some traits in his vision of how the World should be with Macron or De Gaulle. It's a very Latin tradition.
