The creation of fire departments and police departments, public libraries and bank regulations were Conservative ideas to safeguard the public good. The scourge of colonialism in Africa was in the main a Liberal idea to enlightening the hapless savages(their words), Conservatives felt that it would be better to allow people self determination. I could go on for a while, my point is Conservatism is not some evil ideology hellbent on destroying life on the planet and it does not always simply oppose, sometimes it creates.

Examples of this are too many to mention in detail, but the exclusion from a pro woman's march of women against abortion is a clear cut example of this. The denouncement of blacks who are against BLM is another example. Calling Latinos or Blacks traitors to their race if they do not vote Democrat or calling whites racists simply because they have a different ideology, especially dumb to label all whites who do not vote democrat racists.
