Carbon deficit in solar panels still renders them an overall net negative in comparison to nuclear power and we need to reduce carbon emissions immediately, the time it takes for carbon dioxide to leave the troposphere is 20-25 years and when they do that's when they cause the planet to heat up, combine that with rising temperatures that increase surface water vaporization and increased ocean acidity ... You get the picture yet.

  2. A solution is needed now, do you want us to wait for a sufficiently carbon neutral technology to be developed, by the time that happens the planet will be uninhabitable, so some more nuclear power plants is needed.
