  7. When I was 11 going on 12 I live with my father's mother in Bay st. Louis Mississippi, my brother and I had six Rhode Island red eggs that were pets. When my brother light would be coming from school and get off the school bus in front of my grandmother's house the six Rhode Island Reds would run up to greet us every single day we had a small house that we made for them outside and my brother and I treated him like they were little puppies that were very friendly. When I was 12 and a half when we were 12 and 1/2 he was my twin brother we had to return back to New York to live with my mother's mother. And we received a phone call that my father's mother put ours chickens in the pot oh, we were both very sad about that, we never expected that would happen to them we thought they were just be their pets after we left. That's the story of my pet chickens.

  9. I love animals in general but some of the very dangerous ones like crocodiles I don't feel comfortable with. Animals overall a very sensitive especially when it comes to their newborns. I can never watch any video animals being killed or hurt deliberately, it really upsets me, if I am watching a movie and animals are being shot I have to turn it off. But I love video clips like this one thank you for posting you made my day

  10. I purchased a minor bird, around 1966-67, from a pet shop, in Hempstead Long Island. The owner of the pet shop stated to me that he's been treating the mighty bird dog food, I thought that was peculiar. When I got her home and settled in his new home in the cage and everything, when I would start to feed him he would start to bark, just like a dog. I found out the Pet Shop that I purchased the mightenberg from had many dogs barking all the time, he was mimicking the dogs, when people came to visit they would crack up laughing never heard of Mine At Birth before. Today is September 21st 2022. Many years ago, great memories though.

I'm a dog lover as well but unfortunately I don't have the health, to allow me to take in dogs I wish I could I have a multi see if my buddy, I've trained him to go on potty pads both number one and a separate bed for number two, it's difficult for me to get around. More people to do what you and your husband are doing saving these beautiful dogs people don't realize they have feelings and emotion, just like humans.

  15. When I was young my family divorced my brother myself moved to live with my grandparents in Bay Saint Louis Mississippi. When we were in school a lot of the kids had Flying Squirrels as pets they would tie a string around a button on a shirt and the squirrel live in the pocket on the shirt. They would put a peanut up on a shoulder the squirrel would come out eat the peanut and then go back in the pocket, again these were flying squirrels, extremely cute and extremely intelligent.

I am a dog lover myself and would do anything to help as much as I can but I have some major health issues. I currently own a Maltese who now is 9 years old. My dog is a man's best friend.
