One has to remember that the West Bank was taken by Israel from Jordan which ruled there for 19 years, not from the PA's. The Jordanian Army started their 1967 war against Israel even Israel warned King Hussein not to do it but Abdul Nasser, the Egyptians president convinced him that his forces are already on the way to Tel Aviv and he wanted to get his share. You cannot open a war and after loosing it you go to the UN in order to get back what you lost.

  26.  @gino3286  The Iron Dom system was developed in order to intercept short tange Rockets. Israel has two more layers of anti Missile system. The Sling of David, for short and medium ranged Missiles and Hetz-Arrow 3 and 4 for Stratospheric ones. A lesser system will go into service in a short time.

  31.  @americandreamisover9658  That's right. Iron Dom was developed only for the Hamas Rockets. For more sophisticated Mid range Missiles Israel developed the David sling system. For long range Ballistic Missiles Israel has Hetz-2, 3 and 4, depends against what sort of a ballistic Missile.

  39.  @randy7068  No, it has historian reasons. Israel has mixed feelings toward Ukraine. It begins in 1648-9 when Ukraine started a revolt against Poland who ruled there at that time. The leader of that revolt was Bogdan Khmelnitsky. On the way he committed riots against the Jews killing, wounding and raping hundred of thousands of them. He became an Ukraine national hero and you can find his statue in every Ukraine town's squares. In WW2 they cooperated with the Nazi's and murdered many Jews. Voluntarily. My Mother saw it by her own eyes when they murdered thousands of them during a Death march at the end of January 1945 on the way from Konigsberg to the Baltic sea and pushing the dead into it. She and some others managed to survive out of 7,000 Jews. Yes, Ukraine is now different but these feelings still exists. There is another reason. Russia has a Port in Syria and many Russian soldiers there sitting near the border of Israel. Israel fights daily with Iranian who transports arm to Hezbollah through Syria. Russia is sitting still and allow Israel there to act freely.
