@frieswijk You are wrong and you do not know the facts. Jordan hadn't been attacked by Israel. Jordan was the one which attacked Israel. Jordan joined the six days war after the Egyptian leader deceived him telling him that the Egyptian forces are on their way to Tel Aviv. Poor king Hussein believed him and jumped on the cart in order to get his share and started to attack the center of Israel by canons and also sent Tanks to attack Jerusalem. Israel had no choice but to stop him. That's why he lost the West Bank. In 1967 the reason for the war was the blocking of the Tiran Straits for Israeli ships by Egypt. This is called Casus Bely by the International law - a reason to defend itself.

@baldieman64 I understand now. Just because Jordan had annexed it in 1950, the West Bank PA's didn't demand their freedom from Jordan. Only from Israel . It makes sense. Don't you think so?

@abokareem7586 Where are you originally from? I can bet that your ancestors arrived in now Israel at the same time as mine. More than 50% of the now PA's arrived at the 19th century from other Arab countries.

@dandana4647 No. The reason for that was because of the commitment that the British had toward the Hashemite family. This family helped them against the Ottomans (Remember Laurence of Arabia?). The Iben Saud family took over Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite family had to leave.

There was no such recognition since there was no PA nationality then and not now. Pa as a nation started in 1936 with the big revolt of the Arabs against Britain.

aleska m Not given by the British. It was given in 1936 by the Mufti of Jerusalem while the revolt of the local Arabs against the British. He wanted them to feel like a nation. A fake one till today.

@og-greenmachine8623 On the beginning of the 20th century there were many Jews who arrived from Russia after riots against them there. 25 year before that there were already Jewish in Israel. The reason that you do not see white people is that they are working in their fields. After few years you couldn't tell between a local one and a new comer from Europe.

Are you serious?? It was one of the measurable God forsaken place on earth. You do not have to believe me, but you can read about it in books of western travelers in the 19th Century. You can start with the book of Mark Twain and you'll see who "modern and wealthy country" it really was.
