A long story. After WW1 the comity of Paris and also the comity of San Remo gave England the Mandate to run the business in the so called Palestine. They had to see to fulfill the Balfour declaration from 1917 to give the Jews a homeland in this area. The Jews meant both sided of the Jordan river and the British had an other idea. As a token of gratitude to the Hashemite dynasty who help them with the war against the Turkish in Northern Saudi Arabia, and after this dynasty was expelled from Saudi Arabia, they gave them more than a half of the area from the Jordan river to Iraq. Now this country is known as The Kingdom of Jordan. The British offered The Western part to be divided between the Arabs and the Jews. The Jews accepted it and the Arabs refused it, and they are doing it till now days. If you reached here, I can tell you that this is only a general look at this story.

@rayaan3395 So why did they sell it to the Jews starting at about 150 years ago?
2
@ZK-ff2ru Keeping 97% in Judea and Smaria and 3% from Israel. Two Israeli Prime ministers even agreed for 100% but your Arafat didn't agree. He wanted all the area.
2
@Tom-wx3cq You cannot convince these brain washed by facts.
2
@ZK-ff2ru The U.S.A. killed much much more children in the whole history. Beginning with the Indians, Japan, Korea, Vietnam. There were no reporters here to tell about it and no T.V. Photographers.

It's about time to wake up. Israel is going no where and you have to get used to it. I do not understand why you resist Allah's will. How can you react against it?

@abloodorange5233 A small correction. Many of the Arabs arrived only after the Jews start to buy lands and establish farms and agriculture villages from 1878 and on. Since the Jews had no experience of farming, they had to hire Arab farmers. Many of these farmers arrived from Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. After a short while they brought their families along and now they claim they are living there for ages. The modern history of the Jews in Israel did not start in 1948.

@maliks2884 Never was a country of these called BALESTINIANS. Arabs and Jews lived in this area for ages. When they were offered to split is between them the Arabs refused. They Thought that they can have it all and started war against Israel. Unfortunately they did not and now they are crying that it was taken from them.

@i334t_pizza2 No, Arabs and Jews. There were lot of Jews who lived in Arabic countries, but many Jews lived in this part of the Ottoman Empire together with the Arabs who also lived there.
2
@maliks2884 You are mixing up several and untrue facts. Try to get yourself a good book which is dealing with the history of this region for the last 220 years. Read it and you'll become wiser.
2
@maliks2884 I see that you want to know the history of this region. Why do you invest so much energy arguing? You better invest in a good book of the history of this land and you'll get all the information.
2
@farahgazzah2366 Nobody welcomed the Jews in the 19th Century. Not the local Arabs and no the Turkish Authority. It is a long story to tell it here in short about the the efforts of the Jews to settle down this poor land and the development of the crisis. I can see that you have a sincere interest in this story, then why don't you get yourself a good history book which is telling the story of that region in the last 220 years. After reading it you'll be welcome to ask the right questions and not showing your ignorance in public.

They hadn't got the time for it. They were busy with saving their souls.

darchapo There are almost 7,000,000 Israelis in Israel right now.
1
@Kiydye Can you show me one piece of BALESTINE Archaeology finding? You show me one and i'll show you 1,000 Israeli findings.
1
@Amr H Tell it to the Americans.
1
@Rishi99909 Not so long. Most of the so called "Palestinians" arrived from other Arab countries right after the Jews start buying lands and settle down. There are families called after their homeland like Massri from Egypt.
1
@Amr H Do you believe that Allah knows what he is doing? Why do resist his will? In your holy book is written that the land of Israel belongs to the sons of Israel. Why do you act against it?
1
@benjaminjudas1754 But how for God sack? We tried it several times and always got a smaller and smaller land! In one or two times now we will be left with no land at all!!

@nicolaabusada1840 Arguing with you is like arguing with a deaf and blind man. You can stick to your opinions while facts are showing the opposite. In the conference in Sharm El Sheih, the president of Egypt, Mubarak, called Yasser Arafat Ibn Kalb (do you know what it means?) since he refused to sign the agreement which was achieved there. Other peace conferences ended the same. When will you come to the conclusion that the so called Palestinians are not interesting in peace. All they want is to make Israel erase off the M.E. Map.
1
@nicolaabusada1840 He did it several times. Extending hands is very nice but using it for signing a peace treaty is another thing. He also did it several time and took them back at the last moment fearing of being murdered by his own people. Arabs, I told you...
1
@mohah6606 I do not know what Allah's will is but I can see what he had done in the favor of Israel, so why his believers resist his will?
1
darchapo Because they refused two countries for two nations and now they are begging for it.

@farahgazzah2366 Said who? What country? Before WW1 the Ottoman Empire ruled the Middle East for 400 years. There were no countries. After the Paris and the San Remo committees the British and the French drew new borders for this region establishing new countries like Syria, Lebanon, Iraq. The so called Palestine area had to be divided between the Arabs and the Jews. Britain got the Mandate to do it but they had complicated the situation and causing the war between the Arabs and the Jews. Can you tell me please what THEIR LAND you are talking about?
1
@pingu255 The British wanted to reward the Arabs in Saudi Arabia who helped them with the war against the Ottoman Empire during WW1 (Lorence of Arabia). The British cut off more than a half of the so called Palestine on the East side of the Jordan river and that way they had established the Trance Jordan kingdom till these days. The rest of it in the Western part had to go to the Jews accordingly to the Balfour declaration but the British decided to split it for the Jews and for the Arabs. The Jews accepted it although they got 80% of it as a desert. The Arabs refused to it and started several wars and now they have almost nothing of the first offer. Why blame the Jews for this mess?
1
@maliks2884 Only Muslims lived in that area?

You can keep dreaming. Egypt started this war but it ended with a great victory for Israel. At the end of it Israel stopped in the other side of the Canal, 100 K"m from Cairo after a big pressure of the U.S,A, and Russia. All the area of Sinai was again under the rule of Israel for more than six years until President Saadat asked for it agreeing to sign a peace treaty with Israel. Where is your big win?? I remember the lousy Egyptian soldiers in Sinai begging the Israeli soldiers for some water and a piece of Pitah after being under siege by the Israeli Army for several weeks.
1
I do not understand. Do you believe in Allah? Do you believe that he knows what he is doing? So why do resist his will??
