I'll give you an answer in a moment. Regarding your comment about the Abrams tank. Well, this is not an Abrams tank. The last war an American tank took part in an Israeli war was in 1956 and it was an old Sherman tank of ww2. The "Abrams" tank that you mentioned was an Israeli tank by the name of Merkavah (Coach...). In 2006 it still was type 2. Today it's type 4 and also 5. This is the best tank in the world and the most protective one. The US bought from Israel many of that protective systems for it's Abrams tanks. Now, why the US is so generous toward Israel? US Aid is only 1.5% of the annually Israeli budget. A drop in the sea. Israel is not getting any money as other countries do. They can use it only in the US, for Missiles, Jets and other kind of weapon. If you want to know what the US is getting back from Israel, you just have to look at the annually report of the American Foreign department. I read the edition of 2019 and I saw how much American money was saved by Israel. You will be surprised but it reaches many of Billions US$. The F-16 manufacturer said that since the 80th Israel sent to them 180 improvements of that Jet saving them years of developments and many Billions of US$. When Israel is buying from the US a kind of weapon or an American System, other countries follow knowing that they do not need to look for this kind of weapon elsewhere making the US more Billions of US$. Israel got the F-35 and was the first one to get it. Did you ask yourself why? Because Israel is the one which can test it under real conditions and to offer free improvement saving the US many more Billions of US$. What about the Intelligence that Israel is giving the Americans for free saving lives and much money to the US. benefit These are just a few examples out of many of how America is benefited from Israel. Can you tell me one country which America is benefited more? Do you think now that America is paying Israel too much value? Get yourself the above Annually report and you'll be wiser.

No Abrams tank in Israel. 3. Many Merkavah tanks were hit then, there were some killed soldiers and many wounded.. 4. No one Israeli soldier was taken captive. Israel needs means to protect itself. That the reason the US is giving them a credit up to 3.8 Billion $. Not in cash. The US is benefited by Israel much more than that.
