The Jews didn't kill Jesus. The Italians did.

There was an ad in the newspaper and also on the walls.

@Graeme_Lastname 😉
2
Well, not everybody believe in Jesus.
2
Actually there was a third Temple. The one which was built by King Herods on the ruins of the second one.
2
You are right. That coin was used to pay a kind of a tax to the Temple. It's not a Hebrew coin. That coin is from Zor, a town in Lebanon and contained a certain amount of silver.
1
Of course. Why are they still digging there? To find the other 29 coins.

@leroybrown9143 The Pilgrims who arrived in Jerusalem three time a year from other countries. They had to by a Lamb and bring it to the Temple. Since they had only foreign money, the had to use the money changers. Like today but with no Lamb...
1
@leroybrown9143 Yes, that's possible. It interest me because I never heard about it. I thank you.
1
@leroybrown9143 Local Jews didn't need their services and they were the total majority there.
1
@leroybrown9143 Local Jews were the Jews who lived in Israel and do not have to change local money. The near ones brought its own lamb and the far ones had to buy it in the market in Jerusalem. No need to change money. Jews from other countries needed to change money.

Why not?

This coin is a Zori coin of Zor in Lebanon. It was used to be brought to the Temple by the Jews to fulfilled the order of God for anyone of the Jews anywhere. In Hebrew it was called half of a Shekel. Why this foreign coin and not another? Well, that coin contained the exact weigh of silver that should be in the half Shekel. Other ones were no good for that purpose. When the Roman ruined the Temple in 70 AD, they took out much money of this kind. So much that they built the Colosseum in Rome and got enough money for other initiatives.
1
@JonathanMartin884 Of course they knew it. After all they were Jews who believed Jesus who was also a good Jew.
1
Because they should not do it on the Temple mount itself because of its holiness and because they are not pure. The Western Wall is the one which is the closest to the place of the Temple.

@jeffdunnell508 Every tourist is getting a helmet in the Air port...
1
@Alandrathehusky I was in Bethlehem about 54 years ago. More likely in 7/6/1967.
1
@Cherub-vl9bc What keeps you from doing it? You just have to remember that the original path lay about five feet below the now one. You welcome.
1
@wesley8173 You are right. His Idomic father was converted to Judaism by force.

Among other Million pieces like that.

King Herod died 4 BC. Pilatus ruled 26-36 AD. That were exactly the years of Jesus.
1
@yosefyonin6824 That's right. Don't you remember the story about king Herods who killed the babies in Bethlehem In retaliation of Jesus's parents who managed to escape with him to Egypt. Since Herods died 4 BC, then it makes sense for him to be crucified when he was about 30-35 years old.
1
I don't know why many of you are exited by the finding of that coin. There are others like that in Israeli Museums. I'm sure that there are more than 30 coins...
1
They do not say it. they say that it was not as it was described in the Bible. Many Hebrew coins had been found (thousands) but this coin is not a Hebrew one. It is from Zor in Lebanon.
