  1. He had to ask Muslims of South Judea. There are many Muslims who claim having Jewish roots. They also have some Jewish traditions they do not know what are the sources of it. There is also a whole Bedouin Tribe who claim having Jewish roots. It's also reasonable since the Muslims who invaded this region about 1,400 years forced the local Jews to convert or be killed.
