They understand it quite well. What they do not understand is word PEACE. There is no word for it in the Arabic language.

At least four times the Palestinians were offered peace agreements. Four times they were denied it. Two times of it they were offered to get back all the territories which were taken from them in 1967. All of it with very small corrections. The papers were ready to be signed but they retracted at the last minute and went home. Why? Because they do not want to split it. From the beginning in 1937. All they want is to evacuate the Jews from this land. Israel, of course, are not going to do it. That what I meant by experienced.

@masterofchaosdimentio5640 Why reading? I can prove it to you. Names of the leaders, dates, places, which American president was behind the initiative, and the results of each one of it. But you do not have to believe me. You can look for it by yourself in Wikipedia.
