Please ask so called Palestinians if their family lived in now Israel before WW1. Many of them arrived here at the end of the 19th Century and the beginning of the 20th Century. The reason for them to arrive was a need of skilled workers in the fields of the Jewish who arrived from Eastern Europe especially from Russia after the riots there against Jews. You can see many Arab families in Israel of the names of Massri, from Egypt, Halabi from now Syria, Araqi from Iraq and many other countries around now Israel. There is also a tribe which arrived then from Egypt to help Drying the swamps which brought the Malaria decease. Many of the Jews then died of it and this tribe managed to survive and they live now in Israel.
