Comments by "Sim Ko" (@simko8665) on "Arab Israelis: Why did you surrender to the Jews in 1948?" video.
In Haifa and Jaffa in 1948, some of the Arab residents were persuaded by their leaders to leave and did so, others were persuaded by the Jews there not to leave and remain in their homes to this day. I don't have much information about Haifa but the Arab residents of Jaffa continuously attacked the city of Tel Aviv and caused many casualties. In the war against Jaffa, the Israeli soldiers managed to break through the Arab lines there, and the Arab residents began to leave by ships. When the Israeli soldiers arrive the Port of Jaffa, they found there about 4,000 Arabs who waited for ships to arrive but the Israeli commanders there persuaded to go back and they did. They also live there till today and have good life. 1n 1967 not many left. I was there then and I can tell you that the locals were very happy to get rid of the corrupted They were very happy to get rid of the corrupt rule of the Jordanians who ruled there for 19 years.

You are right. Surrender is a wrong word. The Arabs did not surrender, they just fled from the battle fields. Many of them even didn't see one Israeli soldiers.

True.

@frankjames7272 Seven Arab Armies invaded Israel in order to defeat Israel and to throw the Jews into the sea as the Arab leaders announced many times. The poor plain soldiers didn't understand why they have to risk their lives for others and fled after a short time.

@nasiryousif4076 You are wrong. Shamir didn't get it but the Archi Terroristic Arafat got it. Why? Because he agreed to except the generous Israeli offer for peace but he never dreamt to fulfil it.

@nasiryousif4076 Further more, the gangs of Begin and Shamir had the same goal as the Arab gangs had, to expel the British out of Palestine and they did it right as the Arab gangs there did. Read a book.

@theredboneking How did the Muslim invaders do it? They bought the lands? BTW. The Israeli certainly did it in the beginning. After that the Arabs there gave it to the Jews after starting war and lose. .

@nasiryousif4076 You are wrong. These people are from Russia and Romania and also from Yemen. Most of them arrived in the 19th Century. At the same time also work migrants started to arrive in this region from other Arab countries but they claim leaving there for Centuries. Read a book and stop telling that everyone knows it.

Jordan was given to the Hashemites by the British who were forced to leave Arabia after WW1. Israel was given to the Jews also by the British after the decision of International San Remo committee also after WW1 .
4
@frankjames7272 No, I mean WW1. The San Remo International committee took place in 1920 in order to divide the Ottoman Empire among the power nations. The British were given a Mandate over a part of the Middle East including what they called Palestine and they had to fulfil the Balfour declaration of 1917 to establish a Jewish country there. Please look for it.

@theredboneking Which means that when you attack me and I win, I have to give you back all the lands which I gained. But if you win you can throw me into the sea. A typical Arab logic.

@Anamorgan200 I checked few minutes ago and Israel is still there. And no plan to leave.

@Shemuah What version of the Bible did you read? The Grandsons of Lot are PA's? What Jordanians? Jordan was established only in 1921 on the East bank of river Jordan.
2
@Shemuah Yes, this was and is the way of the world from the beginning. Now is the turn of Israel.

@frankjames7272 Jews lived all the ages in this region, mainly in four towns there which were called the four holy towns. in 1878 first Jewish pioneers started to arrive and to buy lands from Arab owners. (my home town was established at that time), and they started farming in their new properties. During the next decades much more Jews arrived from Eastern Europe and from Yemen. The Jews in Jerusalem in 1900 were the majority there. During WW1 Prof' Weizmann developed for the British a better way to produce Acton for their explosives production. As a token of gratitude Lord Balfour sent a letter to Rothschild saying that His Majesty's government approves of the establishment of a national home in the Land of Israel for the people of Israel. Only 30 years after, when the Arabs and the Jews fought each other and both against GB, the UN decided to establish two countries in that area. That's the history in short.
