  1. They believe that studying the Torah and the Talmud is a must for the Jewish existence. They are spending about 15 hours a day studying it. When they are through with it, they begin it once more. The main argue against these people is, that the great scholars of the Jews in about 1500-2200 years ago used to work for their living.

  2.  Tejas Misra  You cannot imagine how much. I'm studying one page of the Talmud for one hour a day. It will take me about 7.5 years to finish it. They are studying it about 15 hours a day and much more thoroughly. Every time somebody adds new ideas and if it's common for everybody, the students will study it from then on. They are studying and explain the Jewish law. At first there were five volumes of the Torah and than there were six volumes of the Misnah, which explains the Torah, and then many volumes of the Talmud which explain the Mishnah. There are now 73 volumes of the Talmud. And finally, there are also hundreds of books which explain the Talmud. All of this is being studied by these students. They do not study science nor English since it gives them nothing but they are studying basic Mathematics. The good ones become to be Rabbis.

  3.  @oscaroursoeakwaytoofastros943  Not only. the ones you mentioned are a minority. Most of the workers among them have jobs like the rest of the population. They are working as teachers, Accountants, Grocers, Printers, High Tech (especially women), Bankers, Lawyers, and other ordinary jobs.
