  2.  @stash770  Don't be. I remembered that they managed to bread a palm tree with a 2000 years grain, and I also remember that they said that it was a male tree. On the Video they also said that at first they thought it was a male one but it came out a female.

  4.  @stash770  A tree which is male or female cannot produce fruits. These trees are really females but they need to be pollinated by a male tree. Since male grains were not found yet, they have to do it with a local tree. Still we do not know how did the original fruits look like and tasted at the ancient times.
