It reminds me of a joke about a priest visiting an island to spread the word of the Lord. He speaks with the tribe leader and tells him: "I've come to spread the word of the Lord, our god who punishes all non-believers with eternal fire." To which the chief seriously replies: "But my son died 3 days ago, why couldn't you have come sooner?" The priest answers empathetically: "Fear not my son, god does not punish those who haven't heard of him" To which the chief says: "... So then why did you tell me?"
