So if according to you it still takes place, then that woman already has the tools to deal with it and she should sue. What else do you want to gain here? To make unequal pay illegal again, but this time really illegal? Invalidating someone's experience isn't a thing. It therefore can also not be wrong. If you can't handle people asking you questions then it's better to just not talk.
