  1. It's a shame for such a developed first world country. In Germany you can go literally everywhere, to every village using public transit. I live in Berlin and none of my friends have a car. The transit here is usually very reliable and is 24/7. Same between cities, we have high speed trains (very expensive though) and coaches (very cheap, 300km Berlin-Hamburg route starting from $5). I'm 30 and I dont have a driving license and i don't know how to drive. and still it's not enough, the infrastructed is being constantly improved.
