Churchill was a bigger fascist than even bannon
25
Char Aznable And conservative will? Ha like dollars will be valid after a war.
17
We can thank the west for supporting Franco’s rise to power.
14
More conspiracy theories
13
Lothar Less notably actually. Just because Yaxley Lenon says so doesn’t make it true.
12
To Err is Huma Sorry I look at actual facts and figures.
5
Pocardus ! Oh Fox News is pretty much much communism.
4
William Lardner Complete lie. Imagine 50 people on a bus. That's 50 less cars on the road. Just think about that before you use something as stupid as that as an excuse for the Tories destruction of the country.
4
JAMES WHITELEY the USSR didn’t do enough to support the movement. Don’t know why you’d take a brutal dictatorship over an established socialist libertarian state with complete and direct democracy but there you go, fascists are weird.
4
True British Patriot Oh just fuck off. You're blind and hypocritical.
3
William Lardner I do actually.
3
Awesome Avenger oh wait, she wasn't. I know you don't vote for your European Parliament representative so didn't know the were elected, but it doesn't mean may was.
3
Ergh yeah definitely but I decided to use the world fascist as it better compares the 2 and Churchill did sympathise with the ideology.
3
Ergh well his main motivation for winning the war was the preservation of the empire. I’m sure if hitler had ever offered more generous terms Churchill would not carry on fighting.
3
David Barnett The majority of citizens that live in the former USSR regret it’s collapse.
3
The communist government backed the protests...
3
Very disappointing that left wing voters have failed to realise the EU is right wing.
3
Richard Taylor Hypocritical because the alt right in Europe are the ones with the masks throwing flares and bombs and murdering people because they can't understand them. The only violent left wing groups are only fighting with alt right rioters so I say let them.
2
chetkayeable The war in lybia was necessary I'm sorry. I disagree with Iraq and Afghanistan but after recently watching a documentary I saw how deluded gaddafi was. Unlike saddam he still wanted the bomb and if he had got it he would have used it. Only crime of the west in lybia was to welcome gaddafi into our homes.
2
You do realise half the population can be called upon to fight? Even americas stately in the event of a conflict is to retreat to the coast and the war would kill tens of millions. Try be a bit more grown up when talking about the issue.
2
that_pac12 look at his blatant racism, disregard for his people and the fact that he caused a man made famine in India. Not to mention his other faults like his complete failure in ww1.
2
David Barnett I was talking about Spain.
2
Josh Charlie I was talking about Spain. Thought I made that clear.
2
All thanks to America
2
rkazinczy robert sorry for not being specific, but the 1956 protests were backed by most of the communist party at the time such as Imre Nagy.
2
D Venezuela is a shithole. I'm a socialist but the problem is socialism easily leads to authoritarianism.
1
True British Patriot My god, you're even thicker than I thought. The reason the food banks are filling up is because the tories have cut welfare, ruined the NHS, and brought us out of a democratic organisation that's brought peace and prosperity to Europe. The people of our country are suffering more than ever before in the past several decades under a right wing government. You are the delusional one, and by no means a patriot.
1
True British Patriot I do, and don't know what you disagree with me on about democracy. Please elaborate.
1
True British Patriot And yet the left aren't allowed an opinion?
1
Richard Taylor I'm actually not. I just don't support the alt right facists.
1
M G Oh yes of course they have. How the fuck have we been doing that when Bush and the traitor Blair were busy fucking up the world.
1
M G Just because we don't let the poor starve. The reason we are in power in so many countries is because some people actually have emotions unlike you alt right racists. Polls show that the rights rise is decreasing along with the decreasing number of immigrants coming to Europe.
1
M G And all you have is a fantasy world where the world was once great with apartheid, racism, fascism, no understanding of other cultures, no global trade and segregation.
1
True British Patriot Ans why should all meps be British? That doesn't seem very fair.
1
True British Patriot That's the same argument as we should leave the UN because other countries get a say. At least the EU gives us a choice for our representatives. It's also like saying that your constituency should run all the others.
1
This comment section has an IQ of about 15.
1
brucinator9mm Unelected leaders just like the ones that don't appear on tv to be criticised and want to 'crush' the other parties? I don't think that sounds like the elected European Parliament.
1
King Zee because those weapons worked so well in Vietnam.
1
King Zee that it doesn’t matter who has more weapons that are also superior. It matters who believes in your ideology enough to carry out guerrilla warfare. I’m not liberal, but there’s far more of them than you.
1
King Zee I was thinking more of a revolution. Obviously people would oppose tyranny but a small expansion of the American government would be enough to achieve that and many would not see the regime for what it would be.
1
Link_ 82 You're so fucking stupid. We know that South Korea WILL retreat before launching any counterattack but it won't come to that. Take my personal theory. So North Korea nukes one major US city, Tokyo and Seoul and trump responds by nuking Pyongyang. The blasts would kill millions and radiation would kill even more, cool the world and bring famine and sickness to the peninsula. I guess we can be sure you're not a strategist. Why did you have to be rude about it?
1
abeirabaixa You do realise it's the tories selling guns to Isis right?
1
The right rose from the migrant crisis but now it is losing ground. If they don't win the next elections in each country the chance they had will be gone.
1
A strike on North Korea would mean the end of Seoul and Tokyo.
1
KeillaSellay because it would mean the death or suffering of at least 200 million people in the region just including the population of Japan and the Koreas.
1
This is something the tories don't have an excuse for.
1
Truthful Chap Morality police is a Saudi thing.
1
Most fascists have been nobodies. It’s what drives them to madness.
1
ABD SALAM Because you've never been to the dictatorship.
1
Presence Na, just killers.
1
Who cares what colour you are, that’s all it is, a colour. Clearly these people are white. You aren’t black just because your ancestors were.
1
Cameron Martin Not really, wasn’t surprising that the man who betrayed socialism in Russia betrayed it once again in Spain.
1
Mutaher Ali was talking about the political situation
1
Iraq/AfghanVet85 What? How has this anything today with my comment? My relatives fought in ww2 as well, just not American imperialist wars.
1
It’s weird how so much of the left supports a right wing regime that bullies left wing governments such as in Greece.
1
Regis wow what a great leftist. Imagine supporting such brutal austerity measures because your beloved EU tell you how great they are. The reforms these countries want are not radical, they are necessary and should be supported as the only way to lift the people of these countries out of poverty.
1
Walrave The European People’s Party has dominated the EU parliament for decades due to indirect democracy. They don’t get the most votes but still have complete control over the parliament and commission. Not to mention the EU is a firmly neo liberal idea in the first place and is completely based around free trade and exploiting third world countries.
1
The only people being lied to are the people who believe the EU is left wing.
1
The news doesn’t offer any anti EU arguments at all. What are you even talking about.
1
Didnt see the EU doing much about that.
1
Kain Reaver the further left you go, the more eurosceptic you become. These people are just blairites.
1
Etheoma sorry I didn’t mean specifically you, I meant those at this march that go as far as to support the undemocratic independent group. I also am pro remain however I want a radical shift in the EU’s right wing agenda and for the cross party and government consensus of the social democrats, liberals and Christian democrats that runs the EU to be replaced. If we stayed in the EU and elected a Corbyn or hopefully even more leftist government the EU will do what it is doing now to Greece and Italy and try and prevent any regeneration of our country.
1
JAMES WHITELEY Sorry but the leave campaign was funded through Aaron Banks who profits off child slavery in Africa.
