  16. Syklone Afraid it’s more true than ever. If you want I can send some data on this. The old are now overwhelmingly conservative while the young are overwhelmingly labour. Back in 2015 there was only a 1% difference in young support for labour and the tories, now about 2 thirds of the young vote labour and only like 20% vote Tory. Meanwhile about 70% of older voters are voting tory.

Our planet is dying and us workers are getting treated like shit. Saudi Arabia has laws for workers rights and still keep us in the dirt. The EU is no different, just ask the people collapsing in Amazon warehouses from Birmingham to Berlin.

I think people like Adam are redeemable though, they believe in most of the same things as us but are unfortunately completely brainwashed by liberalism.   41. Matthew Trow Yeah, I agree that we’ve not felt it much in wealthier nations so far. When climate change does begin to affect us the wealthy will still be able to protect themselves but as you say, they are unable to do the same with corona virus.

The way in which the government is leaving is terrible and will make every reason for Lexit pointless. We’re going to end up looking like a third world tax haven as crazy and contradictory as that sounds. I’m not trying to lecture you and I agree with your principles but just consider whether or not you’re really glad that we’re getting this kind of brexit.
