  1. And you’re ignoring western atrocities? America raped and pillaged the few countries they managed to liberate for no reason other than a few civilian deaths. The Nazis brought death to Russia and killed tens of millions of civilians obviously groups of soldiers would take that out on Nazi supporters. The atrocities committed by the USSR are also greatly exaggerated due to the Cold War propaganda.

  5. Chuikov was one of the best soviet leaders ever. I’m sure he’d have taken a different course than both stalin and Khrushchev, probably a return to Leninism and the international revolution.
