  4. hans Hilgers no he didn’t, he bombed cities for propaganda victories. In Stalingrad for example, he bombed the city then invaded splitting his forces so he didn’t capture the city or the Soviet oil fields.

Most western equipment didn’t reach Russia for years and what did come only came when we were already closing in on Germany. Moscow was the most heavily defended city of the war, much more so than Leningrad and Stalingrad and the battle would be much worse for the Germans than Stalingrad. The civilians weren’t conscripted, some were pressured but even the non communists still felt the need to help in the war effort. Although relations had deteriorated with the USSR Turkey would still never help invade their old ally.
