The Soviet councils voted for, backed and carried out the October revolution and Lenin abolished the bourgeoisie parliament and transferred total power to the workers councils, something that the SR’s and their capitalist partners had failed miserably to do with the workers having absolutely no control after the February revolution. The councils held complete power until 1921 when Lenin was forced to take some power away from them due to Russia being invaded by a dozen of the worlds great powers. How was Lenin a tyrant and not a socialist? He literally drove himself to death fighting for socialism and never used his position to benefit himself, he also gave countries their independence and respected the outcomes of votes he lost. He even released political prisoners after the revolution however these prisoners then began the counter revolution and white terror. The Red Terror was a necessary response to this that killed 50-100 thousand active counter revolutionaries while on the other hand the white terror killed 500 thousand men, women and children. Russia today is a bourgeoisie democracy just like America and has the same limited freedom that America has, the fact that you say it’s any worse than the west shows how brainwashed you are. For an anarchist, you sure do have a very capitalist view of history. Even American propaganda acknowledges everything that I’ve just told you. Please try to consider my arguments as unlike the authors of American textbooks, I actually have a connection to the history we’re talking about. Laissez faire capitalism is a deregulated, free trade economy and does not mean the absence of government, it’s pretty much just neoliberalism. Anarcho capitalism on the other hand is impossible as capital requires the state. I don’t know what leap of logic you took to start believing that workers would be better with more capitalism but it’s simply untrue. There’s a reason why the least regulated markets are the ones with the sweat shops. The state would destroy the other classes apart from the proletariat so class society would cease to exist and the state would no longer have a purpose, giving way to communism and a stateless society. I don’t expect an anarcho capitalist to like marxism at all but my point is it’s more like the society you want than you think.

Just admit that investing and playing the stock market is not actual work unlike the working class people working in the factory to barely survive. The stock market would just be more influential without government and with less regulations politicians can be bought more easily. Obviously some Russians didn’t like the USSR, however over 2 thirds prefer it to capitalism.

To simplify things Marx argued that capitalism was the next stage of human development after feudalism, however that development has served its purpose and should now be replaced with socialism. Marx also emphasised that his view of socialism was strictly anti utopian, it is simply the next stage of human development.

The church can’t even stop itself from censoring other Christians. It might surprise you to know that the Vatican hasn’t been around for the majority of human history, neither has organised religion so clearly it isn’t human nature. What is human nature is cooperation, something the church suppressed for millennia while enforcing feudalism and massacring people of other faiths. It’s also funny that the French Revolution was pretty anti religious. I don’t know about you but I’ll take owning the means of production over being told by someone who claims to be the voice of a man in the clouds that women can’t have an abortion.

It was when the Orthodox Church and Russian empire sent their thugs to massacre Jewish children, after the revolution all religions were treated with respect and the Russian communist party is even pro orthodox. In Cuba the government has done literally nothing to the church and China has never really had a Christian movement but religions still weren’t persecuted there until the government brought in market reforms. Ever heard of the crusades? Feudalism? Christianity alone has killed more in the past 2000 years than any other religions before it. The last 2000 years of human history have been the most violent ever. Individualism is a false concept, we are a cooperative species.
