  1. You forgot the most important feature: If a program outputs something, which doesn't end with a newline, fish automatically adds a newline, and indicates, that it was put by fish.

  3. I think, it's a good thing, that fish is not posix compliant, because bash does it the better way. Bash should rather support fish features
