  1. I'm using a local AI voice generator (piper) for around a year already. I even wrote a wrapper around it to allow some more features likeusing some custom format, caching, and custom pitch. It only doesn't support intonations like sarcasm/whispering/etc.

  2. Not sure if this is that useful to me. I need my TTS as a command line tool, not a Web UI. And I need support for hundreds of voices, including man, woman, boy and girl voices.
