  1. I don't want all my data to be wiped when I leave my system. I like to create a separate user on an existing Linux and encrypt the partition of that user, at least the home partition, preferable everything besides the boot partition. If I'm using an unencrypted OS, then I can just create an empty file of a specific size and don't even need an additional partition.
