  5.  @handlehandlehandlebars  I think, that's mostly a big city problem. In my small village there are two butchers and one baker. And one pastry baker has been there until some years ago. And there are even more bakers and butchers and also a lot of small breweries in nearby villages and towns. I don't think, there is a lot of German cheese. Probably mostly in the south of Bavaria. That's something I usually have from the supermarket. Most super markets also have a butcher, baker and sell non-industrial cheese, too. I've been to Italy and they also had nice bakers and butchers. I also like industrial bread sometimes. Some of it tastes even better than the bakers bread. But the quality depends a lot on the baker/supermarket and the specific food.
