  1. And if a girl is not pretty, she often is basically the opposite. Almost a man, just with boobs (and probably more differences, you never see)

  2. I found a way to circumvent this problem: In my current fantasy world, men don't exist. There might be a bunch of men, but it's very common to be a girl. And I somehow didn't fall into one of these archetypes, I guess. There's one like a mother/mentor, so this is kind of archetypic. But the other ones I can't tell in a few words. One travels a lot, and is not at home most of the time, kind of conservative, etc. One is pretty strong, mostly because of technical knowledge, but also likes to relax a lot, is a bit chubby and does not like to go outside often except for training about once a day. I guess, they don't even fall into typical male archetypes...

  3. I also didn't draw much from reality. At least I don't know many people in real life, besides family and a few friends and coworkers. I might be inspired more by children, who don't have such strong personalities anyway.

  5. My girls also aren't pretty in the common sense. In my mind, they look like more realistic anime characters. So normally not ugly, but also not how most people would define „pretty“. One might have a rough skin, one might be a bit chubby. At least I would find them pretty.

  6. I never did drawing tutorials. I started drawing using my own artstyle. And it's weird. No hard lines, very colorful like anime, but more realistic. I don't draw a lot, and when I do, someone is naked...
