  25. Not why people watch sports. Football is a remarkably cerebral game and more compelling than any play or movie. It's not sold that way, and ESPN has become E! For men, but the actual tactics and schemes to prepare for and execute are exponentially more difficult to fathom at that level than any actor. Most of all, sports are spontaneous. The people who built those towns made those laws as those freed slaves moved into their town and raised havoc. Think about airport fights today and imagine it back then. These townspeople had nothing to do with slavery and now have the violent former slaves destroying what they built and killing people. No one black in Detroit built anything in Detroit. They only destroyed what others built. It’s not even comparable. Jim Crow was white protection from the heathens, what they’re doing is what heathens have always done.
